Bandeja Paisa 

A Bandeja Paisa is a typical Colombian dish from one of our many regions in the country. The Bandeja Paisa is from a region or state in Colombia that is called Antioquia department and the Paisa region. When going to a Colombian restaurant in the states, the dish recommended and most popular is the Bandeja Paisa. It is a combination of meat, rice, egg, plantain also known as tostones, chicharron, potato, beans, and arepas. Depending on where you go they change it a bit to make it more unique.

In my family, I can never recall a day where we have made a Bandeja Paisa. I personally never grew up eating it but I know others that have.
