Jamaican Chicken Soup

This is a rather easy dish to make. Jamaican chicken soup let me tell you that this soup is delicious even on a hot day. The flavors are so delicious that you don't even pay attention to the weather at the moment. To begin I chop up my vegetable carrots, potatoes, peppers, pumpkin, chocho, and yellow yam. I have a scotch bonnet pepper but I will not chop that just place it in the pot later on. I also get my floor add a little water and roll my dumplings into long rolls. Once that is complete I fill my soup pot up half way and allow the water to bowl for fifteen minutes and place my chicken and pumpkin in. Once the pumpkin gets soft I begin to add my other vegetables. I allow those to cook for ten minutes. My chicken was prepped and cleaned from the night before. I remove the chicken and let it cool for a while as I add some salt, pepper, and thyme to the pot and at this time I add my scotch bonnet pepper. I let these cook for five minutes then place my chicken and dumplings in. This cooks for twenty minutes I stir the pot as needed and leave the fire on low and once I test the chicken and make sure it's cooked and turn my fire off
